Alexis Simintzis is a Senior Consultant at FTI Consulting in Brussels and a member of the Energy and Industrials Practice, specialising in European power and gas regulatory frameworks. Over the last years he has advised utilities, financial investors, project developers and large energy-intensive industries on their public affairs and regulatory strategy towards EU stakeholders.

He previously worked in the Energy & Climate Policy team of a Nordic consulting firm analysing regulatory and market developments for clients active across the oil, gas, power and CO2 value chain. He has also worked at the Permanent Mission of Greece to the United Nations in New York. Alexis holds a Master’s degree in International Energy from Sciences Po Paris.
