Paolo Messa is a Nonresident Senior Fellow at the Atlantic Council, Scowcroft Center for Strategy and Security. He founded the Italian magazine Formiche and he was the Director of the Center for American Studies in Rome. From 2018 to 2023 he was Executive Vice President of Leonardo and from 2015 to 2017 Board Member of Rai. Mr. Messa's expertise is in Transatlantic Relations and National Security. Author of several books, he held different positions in the Italian government as a political appointee.
