Sotiris Anagnostopoulos – Secretary General for Commerce and Consumer Protection

 

Mr. Sotiris Anagnostopoulos, the current Secretary General for Commerce and Consumer Protection – Ministry of Development, assumed office on 1st June 2021.

 

Mr. Anagnostopoulos is a chartered Civil Engineer – National Technical University of Athens, graduate of the Department of Public Administration and Public Finance (Panteion University) and graduate of the National School of Public Administration. He is holding two Postgraduate Degrees on Project Management and on Structural Design and Finite Element Analysis. He has also received a scholarship for excellent academic performance by the “Alexandros Onassis” foundation.

 

Mr. Anagnostopoulos has undertaken several major construction projects including important buildings, hotel and industrial units and public infrastructure projects. He has also been a senior officer, for several years, in the Ministry of Development and Investments in the field of Public Procurement and commercial issues.
