Agapi Sbokou is the CEO of PHĀEA, a leading hospitality company in Greece with a presence of more than 45 years and a vision to give prominence to a truer, more timeless Greece. The company currently owns and manages 4 properties on Crete and is the developer of the first Rosewood property in Greece, the Rosewood Blue Palace. Her expertise in tourism lies predominately in luxury product development, operations, and commercial strategy, focusing on driving business growth and fostering innovation through the company’s current ambitious transformation project.
Holding key positions in Greece's tourism landscape, she currently serves as Vice President of Greek Tourism Confederation (SETE) and Vice President at Marketing Greece S.A. and is fully committed to help shaping the industry's future. She is also a board member at the Institute of Greek Tourism (INSETE), a member of Marketing Greece’s Strategy Think Tank, a Commissioner at the Lassithi Hoteliers Association and shares a passion for social causes, actively supporting, amongst others, the Hellenic Initiative Against Alzheimer's Disease.
Before joining PHAEA in 2001, Agapi was employed by the National Bank for Industrial Development (ETEBA), the investment arm of the National Bank of Greece and the law firm Dryllerakis and Associates in Athens. She holds an M.B.A from City University of London
a B.A. in Law from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens
and speaks English, German, Italian and Greek.
