Rumen Radev was born on 4 August 1968 in Silistra, Bulgaria. Chair of the Board of Directors of Assarel-Investment (since 2012), in charge of the company’s investment in the mining industry, energy and new technologies. Vice-Chair of the Association of Industrial Capital in Bulgaria; member of the Board of Trustees of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences; Vice-Chair of the Bulgarian Association for Hydrogen, Fuel Cells and Energy Storage.
