Kostas is co-founder and Managing Partner of EMICERT, the first worldwide Accredited Verification Body for maritime CO2 emissions that holds a market leading position in 4 countries, providing CHG verification and validation services for industrial plants and aviation operators.

Kostas has more than 20 years of working experience in CO2 verification, GHG accounting, carbon markets, net-zero strategies, environmental monitoring, energy auditing, and management systems. He has been for a decade a Board Member of HellasCert (Hellenic Association of Accredited Certification and Inspection Bodies), and an elected representative in the National Accreditation Board of ESYD. He holds a diploma in Chemical Engineering from National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), Greece.
