Spyros Venetsianos joined Eurobank, from Bank of America, in 2004 to create the Project Finance team and remained the head of the department until late 2013. He is currently the Head of the Structured Finance Unit, within the Group Corporate & Investment Banking, division which entails the Hotels & Leisure Finance, Project Finance, Commercial Real Estate Finance, M&A Finance as well as NPL Portfolio Financing Solutions. He is part of credit committees and handles a portfolio of more than €5bio in current exposures. His teams act in all countries in which the Eurobank Group has a presence and recently and selectively in other European countries, while main focus is Greece. They predominantly deal with performing cases.

Spyros holds a Diploma of Mechanical Engineering from NTUA and an MBA from Imperial College, UoL.
