Matina Charkoftaki grew up in Heraklion, Crete and has been a journalist for the last 12 years. She studied at the Department of International and European Studies at Panteion University from which she subsequently obtained a master's degree in Economics. Her career in business reporting began in 2012 when she joined the stock market channel SBC TV where she worked for six years. She then worked at Boussias CommunicationsFOODReporter and Build as well as the Business Daily news website. Today she is a member of the team of Capital.gr and Kefalaio newspaper and at the same time writes for the Greek edition of Forbes magazine. Currently at Capital.gr and Forbes magazine she specializes in the fields of technology, cyber security and telecommunications.
