Κonstantinos is a Partner, Head of Financial Services department in Grant Thornton Greece and regular member of the European Banking Group, with more than 12 years of professional experience in advisory and assurance services.

 

Sector experience

As part of his career with Grant Thornton, Konstantinos has developed a diversified experience in major transaction related services and key audit clients. During the course of his development, he was involved in major M&A deals, debt restructurings, corporate transformations and special administrations as well as audits of large listed groups and number of non-listed clients in several sectors such as Financial Services, energy, Manufacturing, retail, cinema, sports, hotel, shipping and gaming.

 

In the banking sector, Konstantinos has led Grant Thornton’s advisory teams in recent the front-loaded corporate transformation/NPE securitization of systemic banks, asset quality reviews and onsite inspections, portfolio advisory & due diligence services in multiple M&A transactions with Greek Banks & international funds and operational and strategic advisory services focusing on transformation projects, digital transition and strategy formulation.

 

Currently, he is responsible for expanding Financial Services department’s expertise in recently formed areas and upcoming challenges such as the National Recovery & Resilience Plan, new ESG / Regulatory requirements.

 

Finally, Konstantinos was one of the limited authors of the IFRS book published by Grant Thornton Greece.
