Irina Obushtarova launched the independent community-born media The Recursive in February 2021, together with Etien Yovchev. Since then they have grown at an incredible pace and shown great support to the emerging tech and startup ecosystems in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE), reporting on the progress of the regional innovation community.
Irina hold a degree in mass media and communication studies from the University of Vienna. In 2021, she was awarded Female Entrepreneur of the Year by La French Tech community in Bucharest. As a member of the advisory board of Entrepreneurs in Class, Irina is committed to inspiring entrepreneurial mindset in young students.
