Costas Mitropoulos is a management consultant with extensive experience in energy. He is currently a member of the Board of Directors of ELTRAK S.A., PLAISIO S.A., MOTODYNAMICS S.A., the Cyprus Development Bank and of the Institute of Economic and Industrial Studies (ΙΟΒΕ) and chair of the Investment Committee of the LATSCO Family Office. He has served as Chairman of the Board of Directors of ATTICA BANK, Executive Director of PwC Greece, and CEO of PQH, the Single Special Liquidator of 16 failed banks.
Costas Mitropoulos was the first CEO of the Hellenic Republic Asset Development Fund (TAIPED) and Executive Chairman of Eurobank EFG Equities and Head of Investment Banking and Capital Markets in the Eurobank EFG Group. He was the founder and Executive Chairman of KANTOR Management Consultants S.A. He has served as a member of the Board of Directors of the Hellenic Bank Association, the Athens Stock Exchange, NIKAS S.A., Logic DIS S.A. in Greece and CLR Financial Services in Cyprus and of a number of professional organisations. He was a long-standing member of the Global Advisory Council of the London Business School.
Costas Mitropoulos is a mechanical and electrical engineer from the National Technical University of Athens, with post graduate studies in Business Administration and Economics, holding an MSc from Imperial College and a PhD from the London Business School. He has published articles in scientific journals, professional magazines and newspapers and authored a book on privatisation.
