Iossif is Bank of America’s Country Executive for Greece and Managing Director covering the Transportation Infrastructure sector across EMEA. He joined Bank of America Merrill Lynch in 2006 after having worked for 2 years at Credit Suisse. In 2014 was appointed Head of Greece & Cyprus Investment Banking, in May 2017 he assumed coverage responsibility for EMEA transportation infrastructure space and in 2022 he was appointed Country Executive for Greece to oversee all of BofA’s activities in the country.
During his career, Iossif has worked on more than 70 transactions with an aggregate value of more than €160bn globally.
In Greece this includes landmark transactions for the country including various capital raises by all systemically important Greek banks, the Hellenic Republic’s liability management on €30bn Greek government bonds and numerous other M&A, equity and debt capital market transitions in the financial institutions, real estate, renewables, healthcare and telecoms sectors.
In the Transportation Infrastructure space, Iossif has advised on some of the industry defining transactions in airports, ports and toll roads for leading global transportation infrastructure conglomerates, funds, and Sovereign entities, most recently including the sale of Autostrade per Italia from Mundys (exAtlantia), Mundys’ take private by Blackstone & Edizione, Ferrovial’s acquisition of a controlling stake in JFK New Terminal One, Abertis’ acquisition of Elizabeth River Crossings, the IPO of Salik, Hapag’s Lloyds acquisition of the JM Baxi platform in India and other landmark M&A transactions.
Iossif holds a B.Eng (First Class Honours) in Mechanical Engineering from Citi University and an MSc. in Advance Mechanical Engineering from Imperial College.
Iossif has also served as a Board Member of the British Hellenic Chamber of Commerce.
