Harris Mehos is a Director in the Office of Infrastructure at the United States International Development Finance Corporation (“DFC”) where he is responsible for originating and underwriting long term capital facilities supporting private sector investments in impactful projects throughout the developing world. Since joining DFC’s predecessor organization OPIC fifteen years ago, Mr. Mehos has led global structured and project finance investments in a wide range of asset classes including food security, education, telecommunications, financial services, transportation, renewable energy, healthcare, and mining. Previously, Mr. Mehos had over twenty years of banking experience and most recently led Ambac Assurance’s Commercial Asset Backed Securities Group for ten years as a Managing Director.
