Dr. Tinatin Akhvlediani is a Research Fellow in the EU Foreign Policy Unit at CEPS, specializing in the EU’s enlargement, neighborhood, and trade policies. With a rich academic and policy background, she has published extensively in these areas, actively engages in high-level policy debates, and frequently offers insights through major media outlets, including BBC, Euronews, and Bloomberg. In 2024 Tinatin was nominated by the U.S. Embassy to the EU as the EU’s emerging leader in the field of Foreign Policy and was invited to take part in the International Visitor Leadership Program run by the U.S. Department of State. In 2023, Tinatin was named among the most prominent and promising women in the EU, sharing this distinction with notable figures such as the President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen and the President of the European Parliament, Roberta Metsola. In 2020 Tinatin was named by Forbes Georgia among 30 under 30, highlighting her exceptional contributions to the field of social sciences
