Ioanna-Alexandra Saitis is an Advisor to the BoD of Intercomm Foods SA, one of the leading agricultural industries in Greece. She is a shareholder of Companies in the agri-food sector. All companies are export-oriented.

She has studied Business Administration at the Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB) and she worked at Unilever-ELAIS in Athens in the Marketing sector. She continued her postgraduate studies in Italy, where she did her MBA at the SDA Bocconi University in Milan, specializing in Finance, and collaborated on various projects with multinational companies. From a young age, she joined the staff of the family companies KRONOS SA and INTERCOMM FOODS SA in key positions and along the way she took over the administrative duties of INTERCOMM FOODS SA as Managing Director.

In 2018, the Athens University of Economics and Business awarded her a Business Excellence Award as a successful example of a graduate, while in 2020 she was on Fortune Greece's list of "The Most Powerful Greek Women in Business". She participates in business idea evaluation committees, promoting innovative ideas in the productive sector. She was a member of the Board of Directors of the Panhellenic Association of Exporters, as well as of the Hellenic-Russian Chamber, while she is an active member of ICC Women Hellas and Boardroom Greece.

She is actively involved in charity activities (member of Unesco, Actionaid, etc.) and the promotion of female entrepreneurship and leadership, as she believes that the world needs more female leaders.
