He joined Alpha Bank in 2021 as the Group Head of ALM and has been the Group’s Chief Investment Officer since January 2023.  Previously, Mr Sarafopoulos spent 16 years at JP Morgan predominantly in the Chief Investment Office holding various roles as a Portfolio Manager. From 2013 onwards he was an Executive Director/Senior PM, heading the CIO’s EMEA Rates & FX Division from 2016-2020. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics and an MSc in Applied and Computational Mathematics, both from Oxford University.
