Tilemachos D. Georgakis

He was born in Athens in 1971. He holds a BSc in Mathematics from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and an MBA from the University of Wales (Cardiff Business School). He commenced his career in 1998 at Laiki Bank and since 2005 he has been working at Alpha Bank, where he was appointed Director of the Corporate Banking Division in 2013. In November 2014, he became Director of the Business Centers Division and in September 2017 Director of the Commercial Banking Senior Division, supervising the Business Centers and the Hospitality and Island Enterprises Division. Moreover, he has served as Chair and Vice Chair of the Boards of Directors of Group Companies. Since December 2015, he has been a Member of the Boards of Directors of ABC Factors S.A. and Alpha Leasing S.A., while in 2021 he was appointed Chair of the latter’s Board of Directors. On 1.1.2024 he was appointed Chief of Commercial Banking.
