Mr. Alexandros Botos is a Dipl. Mechanical - Electrical Engineer, graduate of the National Technical University of Athens.

After a successful ten-year career as lead project engineer and project manager in technical companies, he decided to focus entirely on the family business, which faithfully followed the tradition of its Sarakatsani ancestors, having as main objective dairy production and trade.

For the last 30 years he presides as Chairman & CEO of ROUSSAS DAIRY S.A. based in Almyros, Magnesia, Central Greece.

With global market reach and exports totaling up to 95% of its annual production, the company ranks today within the TOP5 Hellenic feta cheese-making enterprises.

Awarded in 2019 by OPAP's Business Development Program as the leading export company for 2016-2018 period, has been repeatedly recognized for its export excellence, while in recent years by achieving outstanding results and high growth rates, it is consistently included among the 500 most profitable industries of the country. Last but not least, the company has been selected as National Winner in the “Workplace and People Development” Category of the 2019 European Business Awards.
