Mr. Michalis Tsarbopoulos is the Chief Digital Officer at Alpha Bank. He holds an MBA from the Simon School of Business of the University of Rochester, and a Diploma in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens.

He has served in senior leading roles in the Banking and Management Consulting industries, in Greece, for more than two decades. Prior to joining Alpha Bank, he was at Eurobank where over the course of 14 years he transitioned from Head of Wholesale Strategic Planning to Head of Global Transaction Banking, to Group Chief Digital Officer, in charge of leading the digital transformation in the organization.

Michalis has also served as Manager, Strategic Initiatives at HSBC plc Greece, and as a Management Consultant at the Boston Consulting Group.
