Mario Díaz Ávila
Ancient Greek Teacher

Mario Díaz Ávila has a degree in Classical Philology from the University of Valencia (2002), where he also completed the doctoral training phase. His research work is focused on the Byzantine work Christus patiens.
He has written several articles on ancient Greek didactics and is the author of Aléxandros, to Hellenikon paidion
he has also coordinated Mythologica. Οἱ μῦθοι τῆς Χαρᾶς.
He has taught teacher training courses and has participated as a speaker at various Congresses in Spain and other European countries.
He is coordinator and teacher of the ancient Greek “Οὐρανός” course, which is held every August in Madrid (Spain).
Currently, he is an ancient Greek teacher and the vice-principal at the IES Enric Valor (Picanya, Valencia – Spain). He is also the secretary of the “Cultura Clásica” Association.
