Mr. Konstantinos Economou has a substantial and diverse experience in the Banking field with specialization in shipping / transportation finance projects for more than 23 years in the national and international environment having worked in positions of trust in several banking institutions such as the Bank of Nova Scotia, EFG Eurobank, Bank of Cyprus, Piraeus Bank S.A. and currently at Pancreta Bank.

He holds a Bsc degree in Economics and Operations Management from Lancaster University of England, and a Msc degree in Marine Policy (International shipping & Trade) from Cardiff University of Wales. He is also a certified economist of the Finance Chamber of Greece and has served the Greek Army as a reserve officer of Finance Trops with the rank of 2nd Lieutenant.

He holds the position of the General Secretary of the ‘Association of Banking and Financial Executives of Hellenic Shipping’ where he has been firstly elected in the Board of the association on May 2011.

Mr. Economou is married with three kids.
