Mr. Dimitris Spanos holds a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from the University of Patra. Additionally, in 1995, he was declared Certified Actuary by the Hellenic Actuarial Society.

He started his career in 1992 as a Group Life and Health Insurance Business Supervisor at Atlantic Union Insurance Company. In 1995, he assumed the role as an Actuarial and Reinsurance Deputy Manager at Metrolife Emporiki. In 2001, he was appointed at CPB Bank as a manager responsible for the establishment of CNP Life in Greece until 2002, when he took over as General Manager at CNP Life. Since May 2017, he has held the position of Chief Technical Officer of Life and Health at ERGO HELLAS.

Mr. Dimitris Spanos is a full member of the Hellenic Actuarial Society (served as a member of its Board of Directors for the period 1998 – 2006). 

He is also currently serving as a member of the Life / Pension and Health Committees of the Hellenic Association of Insurance Companies.
