Amanda Livanou graduated from Athens College and then studied History and Political Science at the London School of Economics (B.Sc, MA) before returning to Athens where she started to work in film commercials and TV production. In 2014 she established Neda Film.
During her 25-year career she has produced, co-produced and line-produced more than 30 feature films and documentaries that went on to have international careers – the majority of those films have been international co-productions.
In 2018 she co-founded, with Calliope Charalambous, the Athens International Children’s Film Festival.
She is a Sundance Creative Producing Summit Alumna, a member of the European and Hellenic Film Academies having served on the Board of the latter. She was elected to the Board of Directors of the Hellenic Producers Association (SAPOE) in 2020 and since November 2023 serves as Vice President.
