Christos Chomenidis was born in Athens on August 1966.
He graduated from the Law School of the University of Athens.
His first novel, “The Wise Kid”, was published in 1993. It immediately attracted the attention of both the readers and the critics and gave him the opportunity to dedicate himself to the art of writing.
Within thirty years, Christos Chomenidis has published thirteen novels and three volumes of short stories.
His books are translated into various languages: english, french, italian, dutch, hebrew, turkish, lithuanian.
His novel “Niki” has gained the Greek State Literature Prize in 2015 and the European Book Prize, Le Prix du Livre Européen, in 2021.
Christos Chomenidis holds a column in the biggest greek newspaper “Ta Nea” and collaborates weekly with the prestigious greek economic-political website “Capital.gr”. He also creates podcasts.
