Dr. Alexandros Papaspyridis has 20+ years of experience in global business development in Information and Communications Technologies combining deep insights of technology and how to strategically deploy it in an organization for its competitive advantage.
He is the General Manager of Nefos Consulting LLC, a technology consultancy company advising enterprises and public organizations on AI strategy and scaleups and startups on Go-To-Market strategy, and hyperscaler partnerships.
Prior to that, he was for 15 years at Microsoft, where he held several leadership positions in Asia Pacific and EMEA in sales, business development and strategic partnerships including as the Worldwide Director for Azure, Data & AI Solutions in Education, responsible for the Go-To-Market strategy of Azure in Higher Education and K-12 markets and drive the Generative AI sales strategy and enablement in the sector. Prior to that, he was the Director for the Higher Education vertical for Asia Pacific based in Singapore.
Dr. Papaspyridis holds a PhD in Electronics Engineering, a Master’s in Management and a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering from Imperial College, London. He also holds the Microsoft Professional Program certificate in Artificial Intelligence.
He is a member of the Advisory Boards at Phaistos 5G VC
the Centre on AI Technology for Humankind at the National University of Singapore Business School
the Departments of Computing and Electrical Engineering at Imperial College and Safesize, Greece. He is a recognized thought leader that has published several papers in education, artificial intelligence and innovation and he is a regular keynote speaker.
