Frank Theisen is the Vice President of IBM Technology in EMEA. Within his role, he drives value in the strategic areas of hybrid cloud and AI for business for Clients and for ecosystem partners.

Prior to this role, since 2021, Frank has been successfully leading the overall Technology Business for the DACH market covering the overall Software, Systems and Ecosystem Go-to-Market for IBM.

Frank is a passionate Leader in Data & AI and Hybrid Cloud with a deep experience serving Clients in Analytics, AI and Cloud based digitization projects and strategy. Highly skilled in Data and AI including Databases, Advanced Analytics, IT Strategy and Professional Services with more than 25 years experience including 10 years in IBM Research and Development. He holds a degree in Computer Engineering from the Baden-Württemberg University of Cooperative Education.

Frank’s career has spanned for over 30 years in IBM, including global positions in Europe and Silicon Valley and has been a member of the management board of IBM Germany since 2021.

In those years he has been building important Client relationships across different Industry segments and has been a recognized keynote Speaker at several conferences like Bitkom Summit, Frankfurt School, IDC, WHU Forum, FI-Connect and many more.
