Beginning his career at a FMCG market company, Kalin Peshov subsequently ventured to Honeywell, and, after completing his Master's degree in Business Administration, joined the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Bulgaria.
In 2002, he accepted the role of Head of Marketing Division at GBS, eventually ascending to Executive Director of “Glavbolgarstroy Holding” (2005), Chief Executive Officer (2011), Member of the Management Board (2005 – 2019) and Member of the Supervisory Board (2019 – 2023).
Since 2017, he has held the positions of Chairman of the Board of Directors of “Glavbolgarstroy International” and since 2023 - Chairman of the Management Board of “Glavbolgarstroy Holding”.
As of 2018, Kalin Peshov serves as Vice-President of the Bulgarian Construction Chamber (BCC). Additionally, he is a member of the Advisory Board of the Ralph Lowe Energy Institute/Texas Christian University (TCU) and a Member of the Board of the Vienna Economic Forum.
Peshov holds a Master's degree in Electrical Science from the Technical University of Sofia, a Master's degree in Business Administration from the Business School of Lausanne, and an Executive Master's in Public Administration from the Wharton, University of Pennsylvania (USA).

These include leadership organizations, national technology strategies, programs focused on SMEs and entrepreneurs, Industry 4.0, efforts to stimulate industry clusters and technology hubs, talent development, and policies to create an innovation-friendly business environment. Panelists from different countries will compare and contrast these efforts, and opportunities and challenges in their implementation.
