Balázs Orbán (1986, Budapest) is a Hungarian lawyer, political scientist, and Member of
Parliament, who has been serving as Political Director of Prime Minister Viktor Orbán since 2021. He was the research director of Századvég Foundation and served as Deputy Minister, Parliamentary and Strategic State Secretary at the Prime Minister’s Office. He is the Chairman of the Board of Mathias Corvinus Collegium (MCC) and chairs the Advisory Board of the Ludovika University of Public Service (LUPS). In 2023 he was appointed to oversee the work of the Hungarian Institute of International Affairs (HIIA). He authored several books, including The Hungarian Way of Strategy, published in Hungarian, English, French, German, Italian, and Polish languages. Orbán lives in Budapest with his wife and two sons.
