Dr Nick Redman is Oxford Analytica's Director of Analysis. He leads the team that produces the Oxford Analytica Daily Brief, leveraging a global network of 1500 experts to help governments and companies successfully navigate complex environments through analysis and forecasting that enables them to understand and anticipate change in countries, regions and the world.
Prior to joining Oxford Analytica in 2019, Nick was the Director of Editorial at the International Institute for Strategic Studies, an independent, non-partisan think tank. From 2002 to 2010 he worked at the Economist Intelligence Unit, latterly as the Editor in Chief of EIU ViewsWire, which provided analysis and forecasting for over 190 markets. He worked at Oxford Analytica from 1999 to 2002, as the Russia/former Soviet Union analyst, and before that he taught at the Department of War Studies, King’s College London.
Nick holds a DPhil in International Relations from St Antony’s College, Oxford
an MPhil in International Relations from Queens’ College, Cambridge
and a BA (first class) in International Relations and Strategic Studies from Lancaster University.
