She is born in Greece in 1961.
She studied Public Administration at the Athens Law School and continued her postgraduate and doctoral studies in Paris, at the University of Sorbonne II.
Her specialty is Litigation in Private International Law.
In 1989 she started to be active in the field of culture and in 1991 she founded the cultural events company LAVRIS, of which she has been its President and CEO ever since.
She organized important artistic events with prominent artists from all over the world. She actively participated in the establishment of new cultural institutions in Greece.
She has been actively involved in international cultural policy, participating in important forums around the world on Cultural Diplomacy, Marketing and the Arts, Cultural Identity, North-South Relations and Linguistic Borders.
From May 2004 to June 2007, she served as Managing Director of the Greek Culture Organization of the Ministry of Culture (www.hch.culture.gr), which, among other things, planned and held the Cultural Olympiad in 2004.
She founded the "Balkan Performing Arts Market" (www.balkanperformingartsmarket.gr) and presented important research on the creation and strategy of the Arts Council of Greece
She published numerous articles in various newspapers on Cultural Policy and Cultural Diplomacy. She taught Cultural Management and gave seminars on Cultural Diplomacy at the National School of Public Administration.
She was a committee member of IFACCA, (International Federation of Arts Councils and Culture Agencies), which is an international network of arts councils and ministries of culture.
In 2019, continuing her course in the field of promoting Greek Culture, she created the performance THE THREAD /TO NHMA based on Greek traditional dances.
For this production, the music is created by VAGELIS PAPATHANASIOU, the costumes designed by MAIRI KATRANTZOU, the choreography by RUSSELL MALIPHANT and the lighting by MICHAEL HALL.
The show premiered at SADLER'S WELLS in London in March 2019 and soon after in Greece at Epidaurus theater.
