Marios is a Managing Director and Head of Greece, based in Athens, for Rothschild & Co, one of the world’s largest independent financial advisory groups. In his role, Marios provides advice to leading Greek companies on their financial strategies, on potential mergers and acquisitions and on their capital needs.

Prior to Rothschild, Marios was SVP, Corporate Strategy and M&A for Firmenich SA, based in Geneva, one of the world’s leading Flavor and Fragrances companies, designing perfumes and flavors for leading branded consumer goods companies globally. 

At Firmenich, Marios was deeply involved in the setting of strategic direction for this leading, privately-held corporation with CHF 4.5 billion of revenue and global reach. 

Marios also spent 15 years at Goldman Sachs & Co. across London and New York, in the Investment Banking division and was ultimately promoted to Managing Director.

During his career, Marios has worked on financial transactions well in excess of €150bn across mergers, equity and debt with experience across all major markets globally.
