I am a Lawyer with a graduate degree from the Law School of the University of Athens and hold a postgraduate degree from the University of Heidelberg, Germany with a scholarship (2002) on “Patient consent according to Greek and German criminal law”. In 2006 I received my doctorate from the Law School of the University of Athens, Greece with a dissertation on “Criminal Liability in Medical Practice. Research and Experimentation with humans as the object”
From 2019 until today, I am a Member of the Hellenic Parliament for district A’ Athens with New Democracy party and on August 31, 2021 I was sworn in as Minister of Health until 25th May 2023.
