Eleni Bathianaki has over 23 years of experience in investment banking, strategic advisory and private equity positions. She is the Managing Partner of Halcyon Equity Partners, a Growth Private Equity Fund, investing in mature Scale-up and Growth Small-Mid Caps in Greece. Prior to her current role, Eleni was a Partner at EOS Equity Partners AIFM, a Private Equity Fund, for the period 2017 to 2023. From 2009 to 2016, she was a Senior Manager at Piraeus Bank Group, within the Strategy/Transformation unit, leading several strategic projects for the Group including a number of M&A and capital issuance transactions. Prior to that, Eleni worked at Morgan Stanley, Investment Banking Group responsible for the origination, advisory and execution of M&A and capital market transactions for public and private sector corporates in Greece and CEE region. She started her career at Citigroup Global Market Investment Banking Unit in 2002, being involved in multiple M&A, privatization and capital market transactions across a very diversified number of sectors and a regional focus on Greece, CEE and North Africa.
She holds a Banking and International Finance Degree from City University Business School of London and an MSc in Accounting and Finance from the London School of Economics.
She is a mentor at Endeavor Greece, a leading global community with a mission to support entrepreneurs via mentoring and networking opportunities and a Member of the Board of Directors in the Desmos, a Non-profit Foundation that serves as a hub between donors and beneficiary organizations since 2012.
