Dimitris Tsiodras

Dimitris Tsiodras was born in Manari, Arcadia, Greece, in 1959. He studied Political Science at the University of Athens and earned a master’s degree in International Relations from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, Tufts University, USA. He attended a postgraduate course on “Sociology of Mass Media and Popular Culture” at Columbia University. He worked for 27 years as a journalist in major Greek media outlets and is regularly involved in political affairs, foreign affairs and European developments.
In his capacity as Director of the Press Office of Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, he has closely followed EU affairs, whereas as a journalist he has interviewed influential European personalities. He is the author of the books “Europatriotism or Ethnocentrism?” and “European Integration. The Adventures of a Vision” (Minoas publications), and his articles have been published in international media such as Le Monde Diplomatique, Courrier International, International Relations.
