Head of Climate Risk

Leila was appointed Head of Climate Risk at HSBC in 2021. She oversees the Risk function's initiatives to support and enable the Group’s climate ambition. This includes the embedding of climate risk management in governance, risk appetite, risk management, and disclosures, as well as the execution of regulatory deliverables related to climate risk.
Leila also sits as Non-Executive Director on the Board of HSBC Taiwan.
Prior to joining HSBC, she was a Partner at Mazars where she held various roles including UK Head of Financial Services Consulting and Climate Risk Lead Partner.
Leila holds a Master’s degree in Management and IT and a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Finance from Paris Dauphine University, France. She qualified as an accountant with the French Institute of Chartered Accountants.
