Peter is a respected leader with over three decades of international experience, a proven reputation for strategic planning, enhancing stakeholder value and delivering major initiatives to exacting standards. He has successfully held high profile CEO and senior Executive roles, with an enviable ‘track record’ of outstanding results for prominent companies and government entities globally.
 
In early 2020, the Abu Dhabi listed ‘International Holding Company’ (ADX:IHC) appointed Peter, Chief Strategy and Growth Officer. With a market cap of AED876 (USD238) Billion, and comprising more than 600 Subsidiaries, Peter has an integral role in the ongoing development of IHC’s strategic fundamentals across acquisition and communications, through to bolstering its stakeholder eco system and sustainability.
 
Appointed as Chairman of the leading global event structures company ‘Arena’, Peter has overseen the team’s two-year turnaround, now with 15 offices worldwide and boasting a ‘who’s who’ of major event clients incl.: Paris 2024 Olympics, 2026 FIFA World Cup, Wimbledon, Presidents/Ryder Cups, as well major installations at Formula1 Grands Prix in Jeddah, Miami, Abu Dhabi, Austin and Las Vegas.
 
Prior to leaving Australia, Peter led the Victorian Major Events Co., widely recognized as the world’s pre-eminent event procurement agency. As CEO for over eight years, he was integral in developing Melbourne’s Event calendar and building an enviable reputation for bidding and winning events that deliver over $1.8 Billion in economic benefit annually.
 
From 1995, Peter developed the highly acclaimed Event Planning and Operations portfolios for the award-winning Melbourne FORMULA 1™ Grand Prix and MotoGP at Philip Island. Later he was sought to provide strategic advice throughout the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games.
 
Peter is a Director of The Hellenic Initiative Australia, and previously of National Corp. for Tourism & Hotels (NCTH)
Bank of Sydney (earlier Laiki Bank)
and a Founding Trustee of Cranleigh School. He was honoured to be appointed ‘Team Attache’ for Cyprus at the 2006 Commonwealth Games.
 
A fellow of the Leadership Victoria and RMIT University graduate, he initially practiced in Landscape and Urban Design for the City of Melbourne. Of Greek-Cypriot descent, Peter’s grandparents courageously left Cyprus in the late 1920’s to live in Australia. Married to Penelope, they have two daughters, Jacqueline and Gabriella.
