Dr Nicholas G Pappas AM (LLB, PhD) is Chairman of the Bank of Sydney (an Australian retail bank with a presence in Sydney, Melbourne & Adelaide), The Hellenic Initiative Australia and South Sydney Football Club (‘the Rabbitohs’), Australia's oldest and most successful rugby league club.
Dr Pappas also serves on the boards of Sydney's Hellenic Club and Melbourne’s Hellenic Musem and is the Honorary Secretary of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocesan Council and a Trustee of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of Australia Consolidated Trust.
Dr Pappas was appointed to the General Division of the Order of Australia (AM) in 2013 for services to the Arts, Rugby League & the Greek-Australian community. He is also an Archon of the Ecumenical Patriarchate.
