Bedii Can Yücaoğlu is the Managing Director at MAP Investments, a fund he founded in 2010 to invest in global opportunities. Having invested in more than 35 companies and 500 properties over the years, he loves working with ambitious people and constantly learning by evaluating new investment opportunities around the world.

Prior to starting MAP, he worked at McKinsey & Company on projects in finance, logistics, and private equity. He holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BS in Electrical Engineering from Northwestern University.

Bedii takes an active role in his major investments and currently serves on the Board of Directors of Burda Bebek (baby products), Turkuaz Turizm (real estate), Silahtarağa (student housing), Tarımsal Kimya (chemicals) and Map Elektronik (technology).

Bedii is passionate about giving back and is a Board Member at TUSIAD (Turkish Industry and Business Association) serving as the Leader of Global Relations & EU. Keeping close ties with his alma maters, Bedii is a Board Member of the HBS Club Istanbul and actively conducts college interviews for Northwestern University. He also serves on the Board of Trustees of GIRVAK (Turkish Entrepreneurship Foundation) and on the Asset Management Committee of TEV (Turkish Education Foundation).

Bedii and his wife Gamze share a passion for learning, traveling, sports and adventure. They are active members of YPO Intercontinental, Mayfair and Istanbul Chapters. They strive to raise their daughters Ela (12) and Sena (11) as curious and impact-oriented world citizens.
