Thanos is a seasoned banker in the wider field of infrastructure in Europe having held senior positions for a leading European commercial and investment bank for more than 20 years. Currently at the position of Senior Banker covering infrastructure funds for UniCredit globally he is at the forefront of market development driven by the global asset managers fueling the transition in mobility, digitization and energy. Prior to that he has been a Managing Director leading origination and transaction teams in practically all sub-sectors of infrastructure, power and telecom covering M&A, financial advisory, debt capital markets and financing across Europe. In this role he has been responsible for originating and executing a plethora of bespoke transactions in Europe, among which some of the landmark largescale project financings in Greece such as the Athens Ring Road and Athens Intl. Airport, working closely with corporates, financial sponsors, public sector stakeholders and the banking industry. Thanos is an electrical and information engineer from Imperial College London and NTUA Athens with major in telecom and AI.
